Today Black Elk talks about my favourite plant – HEATHER

“Ah! you will always smile given a bed of heather to lie upon – her intoxicating aroma is hallucinogenic. Dear Hearts, Heather is one of the temptresses of the plant kingdom, and she is in plentiful supply. She will soften the hard rock of mountainous areas and adorn the black sparseness of bog-land; so you see Heather brings the gift of feminine strength and beauty. She will clean up what is swamped with emotion and offer motherly care, and she keeps on giving new life to her body, with new shoots appearing despite the harshest of treatment. She is the Buffalo of the plant world, offering bedding and roofing, cleaning and decoration, and especially comfort and intoxication. Heather is a kick indeed, take time to spend with her and she will guide you into your dreamy inner world. If you feel heavy emotion go lie down on her, or grab a bunch and adorn your room with her purple spirit, her pink love, and her white purity.”
